A retired police officer with 20+ years across patrol, SWAT, undercover narcotics/vice, resident officer, and neighborhood response roles, Paul brings hard-earned credibility and calm to every engagement. His lifelong dedication to martial arts—as an instructor in Filipino Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do concepts, a BJJ black belt, and a former professional boxer and MMA competitor—gives him a distinctive lens on discipline, decision-making under stress, and team cohesion.
As an endorsed DR Middlebrooks Fist‑Fire instructor (also recognized as an instructor by Rangemaster), head coach at SBG International, and adjunct firearms and tactics instructor at The Site Training Center, Paul integrates elite combatives, firearms, and tactics with mental conditioning. He is a certified Illinois State firearms instructor, defensive knife instructor, and defensive tactics instructor, and he previously served as his agency’s lead pistol instructor.
